Insulation (safety) Transformers (series: TMI and TTIS)

Description Construction:

The windings of these transformers are made ​​of copper wire (double insulated with Class H insulation or double Nomex tape) running.
The transformers are protected by a vacuum pressure impregnation with a solvent-free polyester resin and anschließßender heat treatment. The magnetic core is made ​​of EI and UI sheets (types 1, 5, 8 kVA) and grain oriented sheets (types 10 and 250kVA). The transformer is designed for natural air cooling. The electrical connection is made via screw terminals (IP20).

Applications:

These transformers are used where a reliable electrical isolation between the main network and load required is. On the basis of reinforced insulation and an electrostatic shield, connected between Prrimär and secondary winding, these transformers have even in the case of sensitive loads in power systems with severe atmospheric disturbances protection.
